I’ve been making a documentary in Brazil. It’s about Delecado, a master of capoeira dance, who is deeply involved in social projects in the poor areas of Sao Paulo. He built a school of capoeira, brick by brick, in front of a fovela. I have filmed him during a new project to build a football pitch on top of the school.
I’ve had a brilliant opportunity, through contact with Delecado, to gain access to the poorest areas of Sao Paulo while he battles against politicians to find funding. There are interviews and fottage that sho just how life is, day to day, for the poor of Sao Paulo. I’m not a film maker, and I haven’t got the best of equipment, so it’s rough and ready. But I was so captured by the story that I had to do it. The project is still going on.
I’ve seen lots of documentaries about the poor of Brazil. The difference with this one is that it shows hope. I think it could be of interest to you.

i read what you are attempting to in in your documentary and find it really inspiring .I am a seventeen year old scottish student also thinking of doing a documentary in South America in my gap year before university, however i am focusing on the mara or gang violence in El salvadore and by exploring the reasoning behind people joining the gangs in the documentary and showing the governments response of incarceration to be wrong i hope to make a difference. The crucial difference being the gangmembers i am focusing on are women, who either forced or join voluntarly, are often treated in a sub-human manner and feel they have nowhere to turn. I like you will have very rough footage but was captivated by how strong these women actualy are and was wondering how successul you were at aquiring grants for your documentary? I’m going to say it…I thought it would be easier then this…and boy am I glad it wasn’t, cause I have learned so much…with that being said, I am still in need of help. Our indepedent feature film that explores infidelity in todays society is currently on hiatis. I am making a film about the former “lost boys” of Sudan Returning home to the South after the signing of the peace agreement in 2005. I have already shot the successes of a water project and I am hoping to be able to film a few more, specifically a school and clinic site. It is a film about reunion and about the Sudanese people in the Diaspora giving back to their homeland. One will focus on children who are involve in the mines, the child labour they are engaged in, and what’s keeping them from going to school, why they prefer the mines than education. The second is about the woman who conducted our recent elections. Am planing on calling it THE WOMAN WHO MADE IT HAPPEN. I want to look at the challenges she faces, how she overcome them and what were the lesson she learnt during the whole electoral process. The one on the child miners will be called THE TRUTH BEHIND THE STONE.
My name is Jokom Riak orginally from Sudan I would like to produce the film call “God is watching” which is about the Lost Boys of Sudan Testimony about what they have face during the Sudan’s 22 civil war which, is the most African longest civil war. The war begins in 1983 which let the children felt their way in 1987 to Ethiopia when they were separated with families. Their suffering had something to do with cool war between America and Soviet Union. The boys were seeking rescue in Ethiopia which was one center for the political fight over Africa beside Angola, Morocco and Mozambique. They traveled thousand of miles walking on their feet when they ran from Sudan to Ethiopia during late 1987, also from Ethiopia in 1991 when Ethiopia government under communism fail and the transitional government took over that year. It took year and half for the boys to travel another journey from Ethiopia back to Sudan and finally make their way to Kenya in 1992 when Sudan government declared Jihad (Islamic soldier form to fought holy war) the boys and again stayed in Kenya for another nine years under inhuman conditions and finally were grant a resettlement in the united state in 2001 which make another sequence of story on their life. The producer of film is also the victims of the war while awaiting a child soldier service in Ethiopia.

I am a filmmaker working on the initial stages of a documentary dealing with the mental care and drug crisis. I plan to focus on the role of the psychiatrist as an “adequete” mental health facilitator and neglect of the overall mental health system for those who cannot afford it. I am a filmmaker who intends to explore the migration issue in Central America. The film will begin by speaking with workers at the Municipal Dump in Leon, Nicaragua. Mostly rural immigrants, some 400 men, women and children eke out a living by “harvesting” plastics and metals from the constantly smoldering dump. The film will explore their living conditions, lack of employment options, and working conditions. I will follow these workers beginnings by exploring the rural villages from which they have originated in an attempt to give voice to the current crisis in small-scale agriculture and the resulting internal and international migration of Nicaraguans.
I have previously spoken with the workers of the dump, who have the conviviality and openness of most Nicaraguans; all were quite frank and unabashed in explaining their situation. The head of the University of Leon’s department of social work has promised to help with the project, as has Executive Director of The Working and Unemployed Women’s Movement. I am looking for a very small grant to cover operational expenses.

I have completed a documentary about repeatedly incarcerating juveniles at very young ages for non-violent crimes. In this doc it shows that once these kids turn 18 years of age they go on to commit violent crimes. In my film I concentrate on about 8 kids in particular. Some I have footage of from as early as 13 and 14 years of age. As you go on to watch them reach the age of 18. You get a chance to see the crimes they are incarcerated for at this present time. Earlier in the film you’ll witness most of these kids literally beg for some type of help. But you will also witness those that have given up and accepted this way of life. This is a very powerful Urban documentary and I just need some advice as to how I can let the world see it. P.S I am currently working on part 2 as it is an ongoing situation.

I am an independent producer and documentary film maker. I am going to begin filming this coming January in a remote jungle in Peru. Peruvian Shamans have invited me into their colony and would like their ceremonies filmed. The documentary would follow a group of people from around the globe that felt drawn to these Shamans and their ancient ceremonies and the plant they are based around. In November, 2009 I completed a documentary about a married couple who struggled for more than a decade as conventional-business entrepreneurs in a small, economically depressed town until a by-chance encounter with a Route 66 tour guide and his clients transformed them into a world-renowned tourist attraction.

My name is Lori Carpenter. My team and I have filmed a documentary in Iquitos and Genarro Hererra, Peru about Ayahuasca and the ancient Shamanic practices of the Amazon jungle. I was welcomed into a village and given the incredibly rare opportunity to not only film these sacred and illusive ceremonies, but to also film the collection and preparation of the Ayahuasca drink. The film follows apprentices that have gathered from all over the globe to study with the sacred medicine. They are filmed before, during and after each ceremony as well as given private time with the camera to use a journal cam.
These apprentices live together in a small community, forced to overcome physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and societal challenges, purges, and moments of intense clarity and community that not even the deepest imagination could conjure up.
Ceremony is led by a Peruvian shaman and his American partner that have built the village-based community on the Amazonian river bank. Despite attacks from locals, ‘dark shamans’ of the surrounding jungle and citizens of far away nations, this shamanic duo holds strong to their mission of bringing healing to those who seek it.
I return to the jungle this May to finish the filming portion and begin the editing process. I am looking for funding and support from and interested party.

Hi I am looking for funding for a documentary that will act as a beacon of change and hope for an area of rainforest in Peru. The film will be raw and practical and will reveal how the tribes living in the area feel about how a planned oil extraction operation will and is affecting their lives. It will visit the site of the operation and expose the risks to human health as well as the devastation to a place considered the most biodiverse left on the planet. It will expose what is being hidden from the public, may reveal government corruption and will put worldwide media on the case to hopefully stop what will ultimately be a damming project for this pristine area of rainforest. On June 29, 2012 I’ve contacted Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, Washington, DC 20511, 703-482-130 on CIA “Millenium Hilton” top secret program. William Shea from the Office answered: ” I still see no proof of any connection to the CIA, and you have not explained how the CIA is effecting your life at this time. What is happening to you that you want to have stopped?” On June 30, 2012 same William Shea sent me e-mail:”CIA told me that “Filament” doesn’t exist”.
I want to inform you, Mr. Rogers that I do exist and I am the part of CIA/FBI/U.S. Secret Service program which I call “Millenium Hilton”, New York hotel where CIA agents recruit and work with the members of this program, and where I was recruited on September 1, 1995 as a joint CIA and FBI National Security Division “project”.
The purpose of this program is to secure CIA, FBI and U.S. Secret Service self-preservation. That’s why they control the White House and the U.S. Congress and kill politicians if needed. I was a member of this program, my alias was “Filament”. The job was to penetrate the White House and the U.S. Congress and also work a a sniper and “stay close to President Bill Clinton” which means his assassination. That’s why I wrote “The Professional” system (top political management ) for Bill Clinton..They paid me $900 to start and I’ve got political asylum status in USA, and they promised the best medical (government) insurance. Besides, I have a special CIA status – I could make my own decisions what to do and how to do the job. I refused to kill and that’s why I’m under severe CIA pressure – the Agency wants me back no matter what.
In 2001 I’ve asked Senator Hillary Clinton to help me fight CIA which kept pressing me – I couldn’t get my family here. I’ve asked Lus Mendes, Hillary
Clinton’s Immigration Dept Chief to tell her boss that I’ve saved Bill Clinton’s life by refusing to work for CIA. After that Hillary Clinton helped me.
Later Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand refused to look into CIA/FBI anti-American conspiracy and both informed me that “national security is not their business”.
On July 2, 2008, Barack Obama, who was running for the U.S. President, made a statement: “We can’t rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We got to have a civilian national security force that just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded”. Since then he is the target of the “Millenium Hilton” program.
I had a possibility to neutralize Barack Obama. On March, 20, 2010, I’ve received an invitation for a dinner with President Obama and Speaker of the House Pelosi from DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) signed by Ian Sugar, Director of Development. Sugar sent to me couple of personal e-mails and explained that I pay $15,999 (credit card) and on May 13, 2010 at 6.00 PM I come to St. Regis Hotel, New York and enjoy a dinner with Obama. All I had to do was buy 9mm Zig Zauer, practice a little bit to get used to the pistol,come to St. Regis unarmed,disarm any Secret Service agent and complete the job. Easy, right ?
On June 8, 2010, I got the letter from the US Office of Special Counsel Patrick Fitzerald: “Mr. Kryzhanovsky, You allege that CIA Director violated the Hatch Act through his role in the “Millennium Hilton” operation. We reviewed this matter, and as explained below, we are closing our file without further action. The Hatch Act prohibits government employees from engaging in political activity while on duty. Your allegation that Mr. Panetta is involved in a CIA-FBI conspiracy, which you call the “Millennium Hilton” operation, even if true, is not activity that falls within the prohibitions of the Hatch Act. Therefore , we are closing the above referenced file. Erica S. Hamrick”.
On October 12, 2010 I had a meeting with U.S. Secret Service agents who informed me that I’m still on CIA program as “Filament” and I could work for Secret Service too. We talked about the vulnerability of Obama’s security – the agents got pretty nervous and blamed Rahm Emanuel for that.
On January, 20, 2011 I talked to FBI agent Eric Perry. He said I talk too much and I made “high authorities, people on the very top extremely nervous”. He didn’t explain if it was FBI Director Robert Mueller, the White House Chief of Staff or somebody else.
On August 30, 2012 I had a meeting with another Secret Service agents , who asked me again if I can and if I want to kill President Obama.
Looks like President Barack Obama is really CIA/FBI/U.S. Secret Service “Millenium Hilton” program next target.I ask you, Mr. Rogers, to investigate this case.
