“Humenuk has transcended the “artist documentary” genre with an elegantly crafted, richly complicated portrait of the artist. It is a serendipitous collaboration between a gifted photographer and master cinematographer and teller of tales.”

Our production team is back in Memphis for the 30th anniversary of Elvis’s death.
It is the hottest, most humid weather I’ve ever experience (and I grew up in Miami, FL).
We’re posting daily photos and vlogs from Elvis Week 2007 where they have reported the largest crowd in the history of the event on The Faithful’s website.
Here is a short teaser of The Faithful with some recent footage of Elvis, the Pope, and Diana viewable on YouTube.
Welcome to the Center for Independent Documentary (CID). CID is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to collaborating with independent filmmakers, offering assistance and support in bringing their films to completion. We act as fiscal sponsor, manage project funds, provide technical and creative support, and provide other services.
CID offers support to filmmakers through its monthly free filmmakers workshop series and its related online community networking sites. We also hold a week long summer retreat in Vermont in collaboration with the Kopkind Institute.
As partners in the Alliance for Independent Motion Media (AIMM) we have initiated a number of programs to improve the production environment for independent filmmakers. We urge you to visit the AIMM website for recent updates. In August, we welcomed NAMAC to Boston for their national conference- be sure to watch for conference follow ups at the NAMAC web site.
